A DECEMBER BIRTHDAY (part 2)

I know I am posting this a bit late, but we bought a new computer and it took awhile to switch everything over and get access to all of our pictures.

We celebrated the second of our family's December birthdays as our oldest turned seven. I still can't believe we have a seven year old, and we couldn't be more proud of the young lady Jordan is becoming. She is a great big sister, and loves reading, ballet, piano, and singing. So, here is a look back at the last 7 years:

NOVEMBER UPDATE

And now for my last update post in the series after which my blog will be all caught up and current - yippee! The month of November was not quite as busy as the pervious two months, but in November Corinne graduated from her crib to a big bed and our family paid a visit to Marmon Valley Farm.

Corinne in her new big girl bed
(she did great transitioning, but I admit that I was
a little sad and sentimental to see the crib taken down
since it has been with us for the past 7 years)

Y-Tribe family event at the farm. The kids loved riding the pony.
(FYI - You can rent a pony for $5 for half an hour and let kids take
turns, which I thought was a total deal.)

A DECEMBER BIRTHDAY (part 1)

As many of you know December is birthday month around here as two of our kids have a December birthday, so for us the month of December starts out with plenty of cake, parties, and presents.

Today is our sweet boy Carson's birthday and as with Corinne's birthday back in July I find myself wondering where the time has gone. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing our newborn baby boy home from the hospital, and now I've only blinked twice and we are celebrating his fifth birthday. So, here's to Carson with a look back at the past 5 years:

OCTOBER UPDATE

October found us busy with all the usual fun fall events and we even found time for a few new adventures. So let's check it out:

Jordan's Y-Tribe held their induction and family event at
OlentangyIndian Caverns. We explored the Caverns, played
miniature golf, attended the induction ceremony,
and Jordan even gave the rock wall a try.

Next up was pumpkin picking and hay barn
playing at Jacquemin Farms.

And to end the month we had a fun night
of pizza and trick or treating with our cousins.
May I introduce you to Woody (Carson), Princess
Ariel (Jordan), Sleeping Beauty (Corinne),
Princess Belle (Cousin Tora), and Captain
Hook (Cousin Caden).

SEPTEMBER UPDATE

September was a super fun month because we took our first big family vacation (the last big trip we took was our honeymoon). Because we have added three kids to our family since that first vacation we decided that the logical destination for our family was Disney World. We flew down, stayed for 5 nights and 6 days of fun, and then flew home. The kids had an absolute blast and I must admit that we had a great time, too (the last time I went to Disney World I was 9 years old and this trip was Jason's first visit). Here are some highlights from our adventure:

Visited the Magic Kingdom(the kids' favorite park hands down)
Waiting outside the MK gates for the park to open:
Meeting Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty:

(this dragon is made entirely of Legos - the small ones)
Exploring the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse

Rode lots of rides

Made some new friends

Went to Epcot

And had tons of fun!

3 BIG POSTS COMING SOON...

I realize it has been over a month since my last blog post and I really don't have any great excuse other than that life with three kids can be hectic. We have been very busy since September and I haven't had time to update my blog lately. So, to bring everyone up to date I will be doing 3 big posts of happenings for the months of September, October, and November.
