The Wait Is Over

That's right - the wait is finally over and the trip we have been waiting for is here! As many of you know, we are leaving tomorrow to go get our precious boy and we couldn't be more excited! It is a little bittersweet since we will be away from our kiddos for two weeks, but we know they will be in excellent hands and they are looking forward to spending time with Grammy and GramJan; we know they will have so much fun and  be spoiled rotten while we are gone. They are looking forward to meeting their new baby brother and Corinne is especially excited to be a big sister for the first time!

And speaking of family, we have the most awesome family and friends who will be holding down the fort while we are gone so a special thanks to the following people:
-my mom and Jan who are taking care of our kids,
-our neighbor Cindy who is house and cat sitting,
-Jason's parents, Jeff and Donna, for airport transportation, taking care of our van, and being back up for the house and cat,
-my sister Lisa and our sister-in-law Christy for being back up care for the kids,
-and all the many friends and family (including our church family) who are too numerous to name that have prayed for us, loved us, and supported us on this amazing journey.

Over the past year I have received three of the most touching adoption gifts. Two were from my dearest friends Analisa and Sonja. The sweet charm with our little boy's name was made by Analisa and the gorgeous quilt was made by Sonja. The other gift, a lovely charm for my bracelet, was from my mom and Jan given to me when we first started out on this journey.

So as you can see, we are extremely blessed and couldn't have done this without all of you! Please pray for Jason and I over the next two week and for all 4 of our kids. Check back here often for updates on our adventure including lots of pics!
